1. Who we are

MenoGrit is operated by Stevie Wainwright, a sole trader, from Warren Farm, Thame Lane, Oxfordshire, OX14 3DT, United Kingdom. For service enquiries, contact hello@menogrit.com. For personal data or privacy requests, contact privacy@menogrit.com. You can also reach the host on the dedicated MenoGrit WhatsApp Business account.

These terms cover your use of the MenoGrit website, its free, human-hosted WhatsApp Circles and the optional paid monthly membership. Paid membership is purchased through our secure Stripe checkout; your first monthly payment is taken at checkout and renews monthly until you cancel.

2. Eligibility and participation

MenoGrit is for adults aged 18 or over. You must provide accurate contact details, respect other members and comply with WhatsApp's applicable terms. Participation is voluntary. Nobody is required to post, turn on a camera, complete an activity or share private health details.

3. The free five-day Circle

Our free five-day experience consists of a small WhatsApp Circle, normally with no more than 20 participants, hosted personally by your MenoGrit host. Across five weekdays the host shares friendly conversation prompts and general everyday ideas. You may take part in discussions or read along.

Requesting a place does not automatically join you to a group. A host confirms your participation manually, subject to availability and appropriate onboarding. We will explain phone-number visibility and the actual group arrangement before inviting you. There is no fee, no payment-card requirement and no obligation to continue.

The free experience does not automatically convert into a paid subscription or guarantee continuing in the same group. Membership arrangements and group matching will be confirmed before enrolment.

4. Paid membership

A separate optional membership is available through our secure Stripe checkout. Benefits include a continuing hosted Circle (ideally 8–12 women where possible, maximum 20), a weekly general-education Expert Hour (with one practical workshop in each four-week block), an optional peer Afterchat when scheduled, and 2 shared, informal Coffee & Catch-Ups per month. Session details are shared with members in advance. Revisit selected Expert Hour teaching in edited member replays for 30 days, with the speaker's permission.

Founding members get the same membership for £24.99/month; standard membership is £29.99/month. Your founding rate stays fixed while your subscription remains active. If you cancel and rejoin, the then-current rate applies. Your first monthly payment is taken at checkout and renews monthly until you cancel. No paid contract is formed by registering for the free Circle.

After payment, your host will contact you at the email used at checkout to arrange your Circle access.

5. Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel your monthly subscription at any time by messaging the MenoGrit WhatsApp host. Please include the email address you used at checkout so we can find your subscription. Cancellation stops future renewals; your applicable statutory cancellation and refund rights still apply.

For eligible distance-purchased services, UK consumers generally have a statutory 14-day cancellation right, beginning the day after the contract is concluded. If a customer expressly requests an early service start and then cancels during the cancellation period, a lawful proportionate charge for services already supplied may apply. Beginning a recurring membership does not automatically remove that right.

Different requirements may apply to immediately supplied digital content when the legally required consent and acknowledgement are obtained. Any voluntary money-back guarantee applies only where expressly offered at checkout. Nothing here restricts statutory consumer rights or remedies. These terms do not restrict any consumer rights that apply to your subscription.

6. Privacy, group numbers and confidentiality

In a normal WhatsApp group, every participant can see other members' phone numbers even when those members do not post. If you prefer one-to-one host messages rather than a group, this is a separate participation arrangement. A public WhatsApp Updates Channel is planned but not yet open; it is distinct from Circle membership and no follower is enrolled automatically. We explain the actual arrangement before invitation. WhatsApp and other participants may retain copies of messages outside our control.

Do not screenshot, record, forward, publicise or share another member's messages, number, photo or health details without permission. We expect discretion but cannot guarantee confidentiality in a group run on a third-party platform. Please only share what you are comfortable sharing. Read our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Community rules

We may issue a private warning, remove harmful content, restrict access or remove a participant for a serious or repeated breach. We aim to act fairly and proportionately; immediate action may be necessary for serious safety risks or harassment. You may question a decision by emailing hello@menogrit.com. If removal affects paid access once available, mandatory refund rights and fair treatment remain applicable.

• Be kind and respectful. Do not bully, harass, threaten, shame or discriminate against other members.
• No unsolicited selling, promotional links, recruitment, spam or private commercial approaches to other participants.
• Share your own experiences, not diagnoses or prescriptions. Do not advise another member to start, stop or change HRT, medication, supplements or dosage.
• Keep other members' information and discussions private. Do not screenshot, forward or record without permission.
• Do not pressure anyone to post, reveal sensitive details, attend events or participate in physical activities.
• If you are concerned about someone's safety, contact the host privately; do not rely on the group for urgent assistance.

8. Availability and urgent help

WhatsApp messages may be posted at any time, but MenoGrit and its groups are NOT monitored 24 hours a day. Host working and reply hours will be shared when a Circle begins. Nobody is obliged to reply overnight, and we cannot guarantee a rapid response.

Call 999 in an emergency. For non-emergency NHS advice use NHS 111. For emotional crisis support, call Samaritans free on 116 123 or text SHOUT to 85258. For continuing health or mental-health concerns, seek help from your GP or another qualified professional. MenoGrit is not an emergency or crisis service.

9. Health information and optional activities

MenoGrit offers peer community and general education, not individual diagnosis, medical treatment, prescribing, therapy, clinical monitoring or personalised exercise instruction. Guest specialists, when confirmed, provide general information within their competence; their participation does not establish a clinical relationship with you.

Decide whether an optional movement, food, sleep or lifestyle idea is suitable for you. Stop if you develop pain or feel unwell and seek advice from an appropriate professional for medical conditions, injuries, pregnancy-related concerns or medicines. Do not change treatment based on another member's comment. No health outcome is guaranteed.

10. Content and recordings

MenoGrit retains rights to its branding and original materials, subject to third-party licences. You may use our materials for your personal, non-commercial participation, not resell or repost them without permission.

You own what you post, and give MenoGrit a limited permission to display and moderate it for the relevant Circle. We will not reuse identifiable posts, photos, stories or testimonials in public marketing without separate, specific permission. Do not post others' copyrighted or confidential material.

We record selected Expert Hour teaching segments only after the expert gives separate written permission. Members are told before a recording; it stops before member Q&A, so member names, voices, video and chat are not included. Edited replays are shared with paid members for 30 days from release, then removed from access; the source recording is deleted after editing. Replays are for personal use: do not copy, download, forward or publish them. A replay may be omitted if permission is withdrawn or a technical issue prevents release.

11. AI-assisted messages

Stevie may use AI tools for drafting general ideas and group prompts, but reads, edits and sends them herself. No AI bot automatically replies as Stevie. Identifying member discussions or sensitive medical details are not intentionally supplied to general-purpose AI drafting tools.

12. Service changes and our responsibilities

We make reasonable efforts to provide the service as described, but may need to adjust reasonable operational details because of host availability, technical problems or third-party services. We will explain material changes to any paid service and respect applicable cancellation and refund rights.

We do not exclude or restrict liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability or consumer right which cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise our liability is limited only as far as applicable law allows; these terms do not remove remedies where we fail to exercise reasonable care and skill.

13. Leaving, complaints and applicable law

You may leave a free WhatsApp Circle at any time. Email privacy@menogrit.com if you want to leave a list, stop communications or ask about deleting your registration. Leaving a WhatsApp group does not cancel a separate paid subscription. Use the WhatsApp cancellation link in section 5 to stop future renewals.

Please contact hello@menogrit.com with complaints so we can investigate. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without depriving consumers elsewhere of mandatory protections or courts available to them under applicable law.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service or law changes. We will change the effective date and give appropriate notice of material updates. Any change will not retrospectively remove rights already acquired under a paid agreement.
